Have a wonderful sabbatical, Jody! I look forward to reading your poems.

I went ahead and started Malcolm Guite's Advent poem book early, because *that's* how Advent goes for church musicians. With a November 1st start date, I might just finish it by Christmas.

Thank you, Megan. And starting early on Malcolm's collection is wise...the poems and reflections are rich!

I didn't realize it had reflections too until I bought it 🙌

I started the tradition of reading hymns as an advent devotional last year (which without the music is really poetry!) and will gladly add your short collection to that list. Thank you, Jody!

Rosa, what a great idea. Yes, old hymns have some of the richest gospel in them don't you think?

This gets me excited for Christmas! AND reminds me that I still haven't put out my fall decorations (I'm blaming everything on Helene right now, though, so there's that...) 🎃🧑🏻‍🎄
